Nick Adams’ Official 2022 NFL Mock Draft 2.0

The final Mock Draft NFL gms have been clamoring for is finally here! This draft took countless hours of in-depth evaluation and deep discussion, but we have cracked the code on what makes an NFL star and are willing to share this insight with the public and NFL gms. Nick Adams’ OFFICIAL 2022 1st Round Mock draft 2.0 is below in its entirety!

  1. TRADE: New York Giants via Jacksonville (Team Needs: QB, OL, DL): Daniel Jones is a total disaster at QB and should be considered a bust. It’s clear, Jones doesn’t have what it takes to play football in the NFL, he barely had it in college. The Giants are loaded with picks and needed to make a MAJOR move to right the ship and will trade picks 5, 7, and troubled Wide Receiver Kadarius Toney to the Jacksonville Jaguars to move up to the Number 1 spot.
The Pick: Malik Willis, The Liberty University Quarterback has been rocketing up draft boards this spring and is the clear-cut best QB of his class. The Giants missed BIG on loser QB Daniel Jones and have a clear need to upgrade the position to keep up with the changing QB landscape in the NFC Beast. Willis is an upgraded version of Russell Wilson, combining mobility, accuracy, and strong Christian leadership that will shine brightly in the dark liberal hellscape of godless New York City.

  2. Detroit Lions (Team Needs: Everything): The Lions desperately need help at every single position including Quarterback. Unfortunately, the only surefire elite QB prospect, Malik Willis, was taken 1st overall. However, Willis’ astronomical rise leaves a future all-pro on the board that the Lions previously never thought they had a shot at selecting…
The Pick: George Karlaftis, an elite Defensive End from Purdue that wowed scouts on nearly every play, he’s the NFL’s own version of the ‘Greek Freak’ and will dominate opposing offensive linemen from day one. Karlaftis’ freak combination of JJ Watt’s power, TJ Watt’s speed, and his orthodox faith will make him virtually unblockable. The Lions will walk away with perhaps the greatest draft steal in years with George Karlaftis at number 2 overall.

  3. Houston Texans (Team Needs: QB, WR, RB, OL, TE, DL, LB, DB): The Houston Texans are a team full of holes but they’d be wise to start the rebuild from the inside out.
The Pick: Tyler Linderbaum, a can’t miss interior offensive line prospect who will anchor the line in Houston for years to come. Houston can’t afford to take any chances with this pick and Linderbaum is a lock for greatness.

  4. New York Jets (Team Needs: WR, OL, DB, LB): The Jets are committed to Zach Wilson and need to surround him with more talent to give their potential franchise QB a fighting chance. The perfect match has fallen right into the Jets’ lap.
The Pick: Britain Covey, the gritty Utah WR who can do it all will have instant chemistry with 2nd-year QB Zach Wilson due to their shared Mormon faith. These two franchise cornerstones will spend long hours reading their playbooks AND the Book of Mormon. What better way to support your franchise QB than with a prayer partner? New York will soon be known as East Utah with Wilson and Covey as the faces of the franchise!

  5. Jacksonville Jaguars via New York Giants (Team Needs: WR, OL, DL, LB):
The Jags need help just about everywhere except Quarterback, where they have one of the brightest young players in the game, Trevor Lawrence. Wide Receiver and EDGE usher are the two biggest needs in Duval County right now.
The Pick: Garrett Wilson, since losing Tim Tebow, the Jags have been in desperate need of a field-stretching playmaker. What the Ohio State star may lack in size (coming in around 6’) he more than makes up for with his elite hands, athleticism, and body control. Wilson is Urban Meyer’s parting gift to Trevor Lawrence and will immediately become Trevor’s number 1 target.

  6. Carolina Panthers (Team Needs: QB, OL, WR): The Panthers are in trouble and it looks like they’re locked in with poor QB play between incumbent Sam Darnold or the potential addition of Baker Mayfield. They’re in desperate need on the offensive side of the ball at almost every single position.
The Pick: Charles Cross, the 6’5” 315 pound tackle out of Mississippi State comes to the NFL with elite measurables. While the tape tends to show Cross taking plays off and showing poor technique, let’s hope Matt Rhule can coach him up at the NFL level to reach his full potential.

  7. Jacksonville Jaguars via New York Giants (Team Needs: WR, OL, DL, LB): The Jaguars have the real haul of the draft here, all helping Trevor Lawrence. Turning the 1st overall pick into Garrett Wilson, Kadarius Toney, and a starting Right Tackle on day 1 will help give Lawrence the weapons and protection he needs to succeed. The Jags recently signed Left Tackle Cam Robinson to a 3 year $54 million deal.
The Pick: Ikem Ekwonu, what the North Carolina State product lacks in technique, he makes up for it with his powerful hands and elite measurables. Ekwonu is a violent mauler and should help keep Trevor Lawrence on his feet and create big holes for Etienne and Robinson from the backfield.

  8. Atlanta Falcons (Team Needs: Everything): The Falcons are a terrible football team but their run defense stood out as an area in desperate need of improvement. They should take the best player available.
The Pick: Aidan Hutchinson, the clear-cut best player on the board gives the Falcons a blue-collar pass rusher that can be a core piece of a rebuilding defense. Though he’s little more than a store-brand Bosa brother, Hutchinson plays the game the right way and has an impeccable work ethic. Don’t be fooled by delusional Michigan fans, Hutchinson is far from a generational talent. If Aidan Hutchinson were a Bosa, he would be LiAngelo…

  9. Seattle Seahawks via Broncos (Team Needs: QB, DL, DB): The Seahawks defense has fallen far from grace over the past few seasons, it’s time for a changing of the guard.
The Pick: Sauce Gardner, the Seahawks have been looking for a lockdown corner without legal issues for years, and Gardner fits the bill. The Cincy standout will keep opposing receivers locked down instead of being locked up like former Seahawks CB Richard “Tricky Dickey” Sherman! Watch my video about Richard Sherman here.

  10. New York Jets (via Seattle Seahawks): The Jets need to address the defensive side of the ball. We have them taking a high risk, high reward DB prospect.
The Pick: Derek Stingley Jr, although he’s never quite lived up to the hype, Stingley Jr is likely the highest ceiling Cornerback in this class. Vikings fans will hope he commits himself to the fundamentals of the game and reaches his full potential.

  11. The Washington Redskins (Team Needs: OL, LB, WR): The Redskins have a lot of questions that need answers in 2022 but since the acquisition of Carson Wentz, Quarterback is no longer one of them. The Redskins have used a lot of recent draft capital to build a sustainable defense now it’s time to solidify the offense and put Carson Wentz in a position to succeed.
The Pick: Zion Johnson, the Boston College Guard put together an incredible season in 2021 and rocketed up draft boards as a result. As a former high school golfer, Johnson brings great balance, flexibility, and competitive focus to the offensive line. In high school, he earned his team’s “Coaches Award” at Riverdale Baptist. Thanks to Johnson’s education at a Baptist school, he will protect his QB from pass rushers physically and the temptations of the devil spiritually.

  12. Minnesota Vikings (Team Needs: OL, CB, DL): The Minnesota Vikings offensive line struggled with consistency last season and the team struggled as a result. While the Vikings have a lot of needs on the defensive side of the ball, the value of an elite OT to protect freshly extended Kirk Cousins is too much to pass up on for the embattled franchise from the Twin Cities.
The Pick: Evan Neal, the massive Alabama tackle has fallen down draft boards due to lingering questions about his motor and work ethic. Most scouts I’ve spoken with expressed reservations that Neal will ever be able to finish blocks at an elite level the way Tony Boselli did and questioned his love of the game. In the end, the elite measurables were too impressive for Minnesota to let Neal fall through their grip.

  13. Houston Texans vis Browns (Team Needs: QB, WR, RB, OL, TE, DL, LB, DB): The Houston Texans are in the middle of a complete and total rebuild. The disgraced Deshaun Watson is gone to Cleveland, Bill O’Brien is gone to Alabama, and now their winning ways are in the rearview. It’s going to be a rough couple of years (possibly more) for the Texans faithful, and with needs at virtually every single position, they can take the best available player.
The Pick: Kyle Hamilton, the Notre Dame Safety will be the Houston faithful a new elite defender with sideline to sideline speed and massive size. Hamilton will bring strong Christian leadership to a locker room still recovering from the toxic presence of Deshaun Watson. He’s the real deal.

  14. Baltimore Ravens (Team Needs: DL, WR, QB): John Harbaugh needs to go back to basics. The Ravens found their most success with a traditional pocket passer at QB like Joe Flacco. True football observers know the days of the Lamar Jackson at QB gimmick are numbered. We have them making waves with another big-armed QB with an elite work ethic and desire to love God.
The Pick: Carson Strong, the Ravens need another Joe Flacco and Carson Strong fits the profile. Strong is one of the most underrated passers in this draft class and everything the Ravens need to get back to Super Bowl contention.

  15. Philadelphia Eagles (via Miami Dolphins): The Eagles have struggled to draft the right Wide Receivers, with two major busts in recent drafts coming from Jalen Raegor and JJ Arcega Whiteside. This time they’ll get it right with yet another stacked NFL class of Wide Receivers. Hopefully the Eagles will stop being foolish and give elite QB Gardner Minshew the opportunity to start. Jalen Hurts is incapable of running an NFL offense, that is beyond apparent.
The Pick: Jameson Williams, a WR whose pedigree is unmatched, having been coached by both Urban Meyer and Nick Saban in college. The Eagles will take an Alabama WR in the 1st round for the 2nd year in a row.

  16. New Orleans Saints (via Eagles via Colts): The New Orleans Saints will start a new legacy with bounty gate accomplice Sean Payton officially retiring. With needs at QB, the offensive line, and at Wide Receiver, the Saints will look to sure up their shortage of pass catchers by drafting one of the top options.
The Pick: Drake London, the 6’5” dominating presence led all of College Football in receiving yards before getting injured and ruled for the season. The California-raised and educated London does have concerns about his love of the game and willingness to put his teammates first, but the level of talent makes the risk worthwhile for the Saints. Will London fight for extra yards when the game is on the line or will his liberal California upbringing keep him from reaching his true potential?

  17. Los Angeles Chargers (Team Needs: WR, OL, TE, DB): After coaching his team out of a playoff spot, Chargers coach Brandon Staley will want to double down on the offense and give Justin Herbert another weapon in the passing game.
The Pick: Chris Olave, a receiver with high character and elite speed and route running from The Ohio State University. Olave was once a 3-star diamond in the rough spotted by the keen eye of Urban Meyer, the same brilliant man who recruited Tim Tebow from Nease High School. Olave will bring a much-needed Christ-centered leadership to the LEFTIST Southern California locker room. He’ll benefit from the mentorship of high-character and fellow Buckeye Joey Bosa.

  18. Philadelphia Eagles via Saints (Team Needs: QB, WR, DB, DL, OL): The Eagles will need to have an eye towards the future with an aging Fletcher Cox playing on a one year deal and will grab a talented edge rusher to help smooth the transition away from Cox.
The Pick: Trayvon Walker, the freak physical specimen from Georgia is a can’t miss defensive end. Walker was a former high school basketball player who was regarded by some to be even more impressive than LeBron James.

  19. New Orleans Saints (Team Needs: QB, WR, OL): The Saints re-signed Jameis Winston as a stop-gap measure until they find their long-term successor for Drew Brees. No serious observer thinks Jameis has what it takes to lead New Orleans back to greatness.
The Pick: Desmond Ridder, the dual threat QB from Cincinnati will usher in a new era of offense in New Orleans. A true leader who learned to play the game the right way under Luke Fickell, Ridder is the most experienced passer in the draft class.

  20. Pittsburgh Steelers (Team Needs: QB, OL, DL): The Steelers have a lot of pieces on their team and made a splash in free agency. They’ve been searching for an elite tackle since Alejandro Villanueva departed and will look to fill that gap with this pick.
The Pick: Bernhard Raimann, the athletic tackle who originally hails from Austria. Just two years removed from playing TE, he didn’t allow even a single pressure on his QB for the final 6 games of the season while playing Tackle at Central Michigan. He’s an under-the-radar, high ceiling prospect Pittsburgh will hope to have anchoring its line for years to come.

  21. New England Patriots (Team Needs: DB, WR, DL): Bill Belichick will be looking to put Mac Jones in a position to succeed to avoid a sophomore slump, and there’s one prospect on the board sure to get him excited.
The Pick: Slade Bolden, the scrappy WR was Mac Jones’ best friend at Alabama. Bolden is made from the same mold as other Patriot greats like future Hall of Famers Julian Edelman and Wes Welker. Bolden and Jones will likely become one of the league’s most electric 3rd down connections. His work ethic is unquestioned, if you need 3 yards, Slade Bolden will get you 4. He’s a QB’s best friend, a swiss army knife on the field, and the exact kind of person you want in your locker room. Bill Belichek will love Slade Bolden the sway Nick Saban did. This was one of the easiest picks in the draft.

  22. Packers via Raiders (Team Needs: WR, DB, TE): The Packers re-signed Aaron Rodgers but traded away his favorite target. Although the first tier of WRs are all off the board, Green Bay must provide the MVP with a new weapon.
The Pick: George Pickens, a Georgia WR with impressive size and speed. He’s incredibly talented but never built on his impressive freshman season. Does he truly love the game enough to take it to the next level? If anyone can bring that out in George Pickens, it’s freedom warrior Aaron Rodgers.

  23. Arizona Cardinals (Team Needs: QB, WR, TE, DB, RB): Kyler Murray appears to have come up short in recent years from taking that next step to elite QB. His recent tantrum proves beyond a shadow of a doubt, Kyler Murray is not franchise QB material.
The Pick: Sam Howell. A strong, mobile QB from North Carolina, Howell is reminiscent of Blake Bortles. He broke 63 tackles and rushed for over 1,000 yards last year, despite the disappointing season for UNC. Sam Howell plays hard-nosed, gritty football. Unlike Kyler Murray, you will never question whether or not Sam Howell wants it, a leader on the field and off.

  24. Dallas Cowboys (Team Needs: OL, DL, LB, WR): Dallas lost yet another game in the NFL playoffs and their defense continues to come up short in big moments. Expect them to double down on defense and add another player that can complement Micah Parsons coming off a dominant rookie season.
The Pick: Devin Lloyd, a strong and fast linebacker from Utah known for his intellect and instinctual way of playing the game. He will give Dallas an elite partner for Micah Parsons. Will Lloyd will be enough for the Cowboys to finally win a playoff game?

  25. Buffalo Bills (Team Needs: WR, OL, DB, QB): The Bills run defense was unimpressive last year and let them down when it mattered most. Defense wins championships and Bills Mafia deserves to be breaking tables at the Super Bowl. WR is a greater need, but with the surefire stars at the position off the board, expect Buffalo to shore up the defense.
The Pick: Jordan Davis, the monster Defensive Lineman from Georgia will provide much-needed power to the Bills front 7.

  26. Tennessee Titans (Team Needs: WR, OL, DB): The Titans’ strength is in the trenches and to continue their run of dominance on the ground, the Titans will jump at the opportunity to shore up their offensive line to keep the running lanes for Derrick Henry wide open.
The Pick: Trevor Penning, a gritty, powerful blocker with a mean streak that will stand up for his QB. Opposing defensive lineman will think twice before lining up on the other side of Penning who has a reputation for being a mauler in the trenches. Penning finishes every block with prejudice and is tough enough to play football in any era.

  27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Team Needs: OL, LB, DL): Nobody knows how many more seasons Tom Brady will be able to play, so all efforts need to be made to protect the GOAT. Tampa needs to replace star guard Ali Marpet at Guard to keep Tom Brady on his feet.
The Pick: Kenyon Green, a versatile offensive lineman who can play all 3 positions on the offensive line. Green is a dominant run blocker and will plug in right away in Tampa Bay.

  28. Green Bay Packers (Team Needs: WR, OL, DB, TE): The Packers were exposed in the Divisional Playoffs against the 49ers elite defensive line. It’s time to provide additional protection up front for whoever is making the throws in Green Bay.
The Pick: Tyler Smith, an absurdly powerful run-blocking lineman prospect from Tulsa. You can’t teach the kind of power Smith possesses. Smith will keep Aaron Rodgers upright at all costs and help clear the way for Green Bay’s rushing attack.

  29. Kansas City Chiefs (Team Needs: OL, WR, DB, DL): The Chiefs traded away their top receiver to Miami and will need to provide Mahomes with a top weapon better than JuJu Smith-Schuster and shore up the porous defense.
The Pick: Alec Pierce, he may not be your traditional vertical threat, but he’s a big-bodied target similar to Adam Thielen He was the top receiver at Cincinnati and will soon overtake JuJu Smith-Schuster as Patrick Mahomes’ top target.

  30. Kansas City Chiefs:
The Pick: Andrew Booth Jr, a DB prospect with elite measurables has been getting coached up in the Christ-centered Clemson locker room for years now. Let’s hope Dabo’s mentorship had a strong impact on Booth’s character development.

  31. Cincinnati Bengals (Team Needs: OL, DB, LB, TE): The Bengals magical run fell just short but they’re still a franchise on the rise. The loss of Larry Ogunjobi in Free Agency will need to be addressed urgently.
The Pick: Devone Wyatt, a key part of the dominant defensive line that propelled Georgia to their first national title since future US Senator Herschel Walker led Georgia to a championship in 1980.

  32. Detroit Lions: The Lions get the rare opportunity here to draft two defensive difference makers in the same round. Dan Campbell will continue to build out his defense moving into year two.
The Pick: Troy Andersen, a player who converted from QB and RB had an impressive debut season at LB and became a run-stopping MACHINE at Montana State. Andersen can do it all and will become one of the steals of the draft.
